Richard Payne

Payne, (Forest) Richard "Rich"

Richard was born on September 24, 1937, in Springboro, PA, to Forest James and Alice Pauline (Hughes) Payne. He passed away on October 20, 2010, at his home in Louisville, NE, at the age of 73 years, and 26 days.

Richard served in the United States Air Force before returning home to help his family. He married Mona Reed, on June 12, 1959, and to this union they raised four children, Dennis, Randy, Carla, and Tanya. He retired from Western Electric, and was a member of Masonic Temple in Springfield, and the Louisville Fire Department.

Richard is survived by his wife Mona, children Randy (Joan) Payne, & Carla Kritenbrink, all Louisville, NE, and Tanya (Doug) Schmidt, Bellevue, NE, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brother James (Jonna) Payne, Albuquerque, NM, sisters Dorthy Sheldon, Omaha, NE, Kathryn Redden, Springboro, PA, Anna Boyer, Meadville, PA, Margaret (Richard) Johnson, Sebring FL, and Darlene (Herb) Parks, Gretna, NE, and aunt Margaret Wells, Keystone, FL.

Rich was preceded in death by his parents Forest & Pauline Payne, son Dennis Richard Payne.

Visitation: Friday from 12 noon until 9:00 P.M. with the family greeting friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. all at the Funeral Home Condolences may be sent to fusselmanallenharveyfuneralhome.com
